Privacy Policy

Version 2026-08-30.1 · Effective 30 August 2026

This policy explains what Dial Tone Scripts collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is incorporated into the Terms and Conditions by reference.

1. Who we are

Dial Tone Scripts is operated by Benjamin Adams d/b/a Dial Tone Scripts ("we," "us," "our"), and is available at myscriptorai.com. For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your data, contact ben@myscriptorai.com.

2. What we collect

2.1Account information. Your email address and password are handled by our authentication provider; we never store your password in readable form. We store the display name you choose, which is visible to other users as described in Section 4.

2.2Customer Data you enter. When you name a customer, describe a situation or offer, or write a debrief, we store that text so your history is available on future calls. This may include personal information about third parties, and you are responsible for having the right to provide it.

2.3Generated Content. We store the scripts the Service produces for you, along with the settings used to produce them: the mode, the industry or channel, the Dial Tone Scale value, and whether the Guardrail Toggle was on.

2.4Outcomes you log. If you record how a call went, we store that outcome and associate it with the script and customer.

2.5Usage records. We record the time of each generation in order to apply the usage limits attached to your plan, and your Daily Challenge results, streak, experience points and badges.

2.6Billing records. If you subscribe, we store an identifier for your customer and subscription records held by our payment processor, along with your plan, its status and its renewal date. We never receive or store your card number.

2.7Consent records. When you accept the Terms we store which version you accepted and when.

3. Why we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Provide the Service: produce scripts, keep your customer history, and show your dashboard and reports;
  • Apply the usage limits and features attached to your plan, and take payment where a plan is paid;
  • Operate the Daily Challenge, including streaks, badges and the leaderboard;
  • Keep the Service secure, investigate misuse, and meet our legal obligations;
  • Improve the Service using de-identified, aggregated usage data, as described in the Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Customer Data to train artificial intelligence models.

4. What other users can see

The Daily Challenge leaderboard shows your display name, experience points and current streak to other signed-in users of the Service. Nothing else you enter is visible to other users: your scripts, customers, debriefs, outcomes and reports are private to your account.

If you would rather not be identifiable on the leaderboard, change your display name in Settings.

5. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Service, and only for that purpose:

  • Anthropic (our artificial intelligence provider), which receives the inputs you supply in order to generate a script. Do not enter information you are not willing to have processed this way.
  • Supabase (our database and authentication provider), which stores your account and the data described in Section 2.
  • Vercel (our hosting provider), which serves the application and processes the network requests that reach it.
  • Stripe (our payment processor), which handles subscriptions and card details directly. Card numbers are entered on their systems and never reach ours.

These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Where a provider is replaced, this policy is updated to name the replacement.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

6. How long we keep it

6.1We keep your account and its associated data for as long as your account exists, so that your customer history remains useful over time.

6.2On deletion of your account, we delete the data associated with it, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax or accounting purposes, or where data has already been de-identified and aggregated so that it no longer identifies you.

6.3Consent records under Section 2.7 are retained after account deletion, because their purpose is to evidence that an agreement was made.

7. Your choices and rights

7.1You can view and change your display name, and replay the walkthrough, from Settings.

7.2You can cancel a paid plan at any time through the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.

7.3You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data, by contacting ben@myscriptorai.com.

7.4Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to certain processing. We will honour those rights where they apply to you.

7.5Where you have entered Customer Data about other people, requests from those people should be directed to you in the first instance, since you decide what is collected and why. We will assist you in responding.

8. Security

Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that one account cannot read another's. Payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor. We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your information, but no service can promise absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

When you choose a password we check whether it has appeared in a known public data breach. Your password is never sent anywhere to do this. We take a cryptographic fingerprint of it in your browser, send only the first five characters of that fingerprint, and compare the results locally, so the service performing the check never receives your password, the full fingerprint, your email address, or any way to know who was asking.

9. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. Clearing these cookies will sign you out.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact ben@myscriptorai.com and we will delete it.

11. Where your data is held

The Service and its providers operate in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email before they take effect, and the version and effective date shown at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated policy.
